31 Oct SA8000 certification renewed for the three-year period 2023-2026
On 17/10/23 the visit of the CISE certifying audit group for the renewal of the SA8000 certification was successfully concluded.
ALS has undertaken the process of adapting to the SA8000 standard starting from 2020, obtaining recognition as a certified company according to the international standard in October of the same year. The first three-year certification cycle included 5 six-monthly surveillance to verify continuous improvement and adherence to the principles of the SA8000 standard. With the Renewal, and the consequent Certificate, obtained on 10/21/23, the second three-year cycle opens.
ALS is among the group of few companies in the logistics market certified according to the SA8000 international standard on Corporate Social Responsibility, which has as its main purpose to ensure the protection of the dignity of workers, both in labor law and social terms.
